Things about me....

1. I have been with my better half since 1977, married since 1983.
2. My hubby is the most important person in my life, my best friend, lover and sole mate...without him I would not be whole...I love him forever and always...
3. I love candy...the kind that rots your teeth, like cotton candy and sweetarts, chocolate bars and ice cream... these are considered staples right
4. I am a Pespi fanatic (B likes Coke) so we have fun with that one.

5. I am a very proud Canadian - thanks to all our troops for keeping Canada safe.
6. I hate spiders, or any kind of creepy bugs.
7. I don't like to stand over the drain in a shower, I think that some of those creepy bugs I don't like will come up through the drain.
8. I was born and raised in Toronto, Ontario.  Great Place to visit...lots to see, the CN tower, Skydome, St. Lawrence Market, Ontario Place, Center Island...not to mention Black Creek Pioneer Village and Casa Loma, just to name a few...






9. I came to Alberta in 1974 for 2 weeks vacation...and I'm still here.
10. I have 3 brothers, 2 older  (Steve and Greg) and 1 younger(Brad).  I miss them lots...I wish we lived closer...

11. I miss my dad everyday, he passed away in 2001...Dad I know you are gardening with the angels...

12. I wish I had, had the opportunity to spend more time with my maternal grandparents...Miss you Grandma and Grandpa Stott. 
13. I wish I could have met my paternal grandparents however they passed away before I was born...Grandma and Grandpa Winter someday we will meet .
14. I have no immediate family in Alberta...all my family live in Ontario :(
15. I am very close to my mother and cherish every moment with her either in person or by phone and email...Love you lots Mom...:) 
16. I absolutely LOVE and adore my two grandsons...Logan and Tyler, I can't get enough of them....they really make life worth while!

17. I LOVE and cherish my daughter Tiffany and appreciate her uniqueness.  Her nickname is Rainbow Brite for a reason!

18. It would be nice to have a grand-daughter one day...we'll see.
19. I am addicted to Timmys' - extra large double double, please and don't forget the Timbits!!!
20. I wish I was more artistic and crafty.
21. I am learning how to decorate cakes...it's fun but messy.
22. I don't like ketchup!
23. I love fruit, any kind but my two favorites are cantalope and nectarines, bananas and apples are right up there to.
24. I am an ice cream addict...especially chocolate with homemade raspberry sauce...yummm.
25. Popcorn...that's a food group all in itself...
26. I don't like ground beef, it's ok done up as a hamburger, but you won't find me at the head of the line dishing up meatloaf or shepard's pie...
27. I am hooked on DIY shows, landscaping, home repairs and decorating, I am also hooked on Big Brother..
28. I look forward to going to our camper every opportunity we can which is almost every weekend.
29. I am a Flintstone fanatic....and I still watch the cartoons any chance I get!






30. We have lots of fun with our grandkids at the camper, they love the freedom!
31. I still get homesick (after 30+ yrs), especially in the summer and fall...Ontario is beautiful in the summer the lakes up north are georgeous and the fall colours are stunning...something that we don't have in Alberta.
32. I get along really good with my mother-in-law Joan and love her lots.
33. I appreciate that through B I have 2 more brothers and 3 sisters...Kevin and Brad, Karen, Donna and Lisa....love you guys!
34. I have a special niece Billie-Jo...although I cherish all my nieces and nephews ... Billie is well ... special, she is the only neice from my side of the family...Love you Billie.
35. I love my job...been there almost 18 years.
36. Choosing to live a sober life has been the best thing I have ever done next to having my daughter and marrying B.
37. I love my 2006 Dodge Charger...I may look slow but watch me go!
38. I hate drivers that talk on cell phones...they really don't pay attention.
39. I hate drivers that run red lights...come on people...watch what you are doing.
40. I collect turtle ornaments...and tattoos...one on me and one on B.
41. I am going to get another tattoo for Logan and Tyler, they will be arm bands with their names and date of birth...
42. My favorite color is blue, any shade I just like blue..
43. Earthtones are my preference for interior house colors, I know BORING...
44. I like to do scrapbooking, bake, crochet and sew and recently cake decorating.
45. Christmas and Halloween are my two favorite annual celebrations.
46. I am pretty laid back, it takes alot for me to loose my cool, but watch out when I do.
47. My favortie flower is a dahlia.  I also like lilacs, but they don't like me I have an alergy to them :( but I still love the smell of them :)
48. I want to travel across Canada and one day so that I can put my feet into both oceans.
49. I want to take a train trip from Alberta to Vancouver, I think that would be the best way to see the Rockies...if I travel through the mountains in a car I have to cover my eyes or look through a camera, yes silly I know but that's what a fear of heights does to you!
50. I really don't mind being in my 50's, and if I could be 30 again, I would not change a thing in my life...I am happy and content.
51. I am looking forward to retirement...not sure what I will do with myself, but I know I will keep busy.
52. I cry very easily, sometimes too easy, like at commercials on tv, if my daughter cries I will cry too, just because...show me something about kids (happy or sad) and I'll cry a river....damn emotions...damn menopause...
53. I really don't like scary or gory movies.
54. I didn't like school...but my Grade 9 History teacher was fantastic, to this day, I am interested in history especially WWII.  Thanks Mr. Young for your patience and believing in me!
55. I do not like the smell of vanilla, don't know why I just don't.
56. I don't like VLT's or gambling...now I've been known to buy a few scratch tickets once in a while (never win anything) but to go to a casino and actually "blow" money on those silly machines will never happen with me!  I know that I have an addictive personality...nuff said.
57. I really wish I could still ride a motorbike...damn Vertigo...maybe a trike one day...
58. I think that work weeks should be two days and weekends should be 5 days...anyone else agree!
59. I make the best of rainy days...like curling up and watching a good DIY show...
60. I really don't mind mowing the lawn or shovelling snow...as long as I can be either cool or warm I'm good to go.
