Wow....it's been a very long time....

I must say we have been busy, with lots, and lots of snow....good grief I was beginning to believe we would never see the end of it!  But slowly but surely it is melting...

Here is a re-cap of what we have been doing the last few months...starting with February...

Here's our dog Rocky, the snow is so high

he can look over fence.

The boys played legos...

(a couple of transformers too) were running for the hills....

We celebrated Valentines Day...

We celebrated Tiffany's 28th Birthday

Did I mention snow....

Still lots of snow with more in the forecast!

That brings us to March....

It all began with some flooring...

we have had this flooring for the boys rooms...

for awhile now....It was a big job...B and our friend Scott

did both rooms in one day and I think

they look great. 

Tyler's room still had carpet and

Logan's room had the original tiles

that were installed when the house

was built in 1974...they were some ugly. 

 Both rooms look good with

their new floors, now to paint...

and, again more snow...

B cleared the roof, so that made

a really cool pile of snow for playing on.

This stuff is really cool, you can make lots of stuff
with it and it never dries out !!! Gotta like that.

Papa got to go to pizza night at Logan's school

They have it for an early Father's Day held

in March instead of June because school is out,

so the boys can bring their dads, uncles,

or grandpa's and Logan chose to take

Papa this year.

his Papa to have pizza.

After pizza they went back to the 
school to see some of the things
that they get to play with...

That brings us up to April...

April showers bring May flowers,

well no showers...just snow...

We thought we go and check on the camper

it has been a long winter, this time

last year we were already going out

on a regular basis, just no spending

the night as yet... we drove in as far as we
could go, then we walked the rest of the way...

The snow was really deep and we did not spend too much time here due to the snow

trying to get rid of some

of the snow...

Ok, so the boys are playing and Papa is

doing all the work...

Papa chipping the ice from the side of the

road, they had to plough our roads

twice this year due to the amount

of snow we had...it was almost 4 feet on

to the road......

The boys thought this looked fun

so they decided to give Papa a hand.

These chunks of ice are about 4" thick

Our friend Colleen helped Papa with

the big chunks, I was too busy

taking pictures to help..ha-ha

We have a new pet, well not really us

but Tiffany and the boys....

Meet Spidey Man...our new tarantula...

Both boys like him very much

and the spider likes the boys also,

the spider will go to sleep when

they are holding him, so he

feels very secure with them.

Me on the other hand I will

not hold him, I have touched him

he is very soft, but I have not

held him yet, I really

don't have the urge to hold him...he-he

Tyler really likes him he says the spider tickles him....

We have come into the 21st Century

not only do B and I have iphones, but

we splurged and bought ipads too

they are really cool and very convenient and as you

can see even the boys get

to play games on them....technology

gotta love it!

Then came Easter...

we started the day before Easter and

decorated eggs...Papa had to

help Tyler, not because Tyler couldn't

do it but because Papa has to

help with everything...can we say

Then there was sometime for bike riding,
notice it is April 23 and still snow on the
ground.

Logan figured he should help Tyler wash his

After all that fun outside with riding bikes and playing
in puddles it was time to make
Easter baskets

needless to say we had two very
excited boys....

I would have to say that we had two very very very
happy little fellows on Easter morning
after they hunted down all their
treats....

it melt faster....can't wait for spring!

We have recently gotten back into playing darts
and Barry threw one dart dead center
of the previous dart he just threw....

It even made B laugh - fluke or what!

 

Now here we are at April 30th and
finally the snow is all gone!!

Now we gotta put away the snow shovels

and get raking the lawn....

That brings us to the end of April.  I will
